Provincial Math Lead Check In

This check in will provide board leads with an opportunity to share promising practices and learnings with one another related to the implementation of the math strategy, including the elementary math curriculum.

Examine this strand in more detail, and look at connecting SEL Skills, Mathematical Processes, and assessment and instruction of the remaining five strands.

Separate webinars will be offered for Grades 5-6 and 7-8.

Coding (OAME/AFEMO)

In these webinars, educators will be Introduced to the lesson and assessment plans that were developed to support teachers in implementing the new Coding strand in the revised elementary math curriculum.

Sessions will be offered separately for Primary, Junior and Intermediate divisions.

Coding (Science North)

This webinar will assist educators with limited or no experience in coding to understand and teach the coding expectations in the new curriculum, as well as introduce the cross-curricular connections to the science and technology curriculum.

Separate webinars will be offered for Grades 1-2 and 3-4.

Supporting Students with Special Education Needs

This module provides guidance and resources to help K-12 educators working in remote, hybrid or blended learning settings support students with special education needs

Algebra with a focus on Mathematical Modelling

This webinar will ensure that teachers can support student learning in the algebra strand and will include a focus on mathematical modelling.
